Charter Partnership successfully established

The Alpi Marittime Nature Park and the Apuseni Nature Park established the second Charter Partnership in the framework of the EUROPARC project European CharterNet.
The Alpi Marittime, that joined the Charter in 2001, was chosen as the mentor for the
Apuseni; during the meetings that have taken place in the month of
September the two parks, and all the staff involved were introduced to the managament, tourist promotion and protection of the environment of the area. The results obtained showed significant similarities between
the two parks despite the large territorial, economic and social differences. The
Apuseni Nature Park has shown great interest for the ecomuseo present
in the territory of the Alpi Marittime (the rye ecomuseo)
and for the society GESAM (Manager events structures Alpi Marittime), that the
park establish with the municipality of Entracque for the management of
structures in the territory (visitor centers, parking payment and equipped areas),
including the cross country system, an attraction that could be adapted very
well to the Romanian park.
The only problems that could impede a future cooperation are the economic
investment and the staff that would be needed to implement the projects.
